Lately, I've been getting more and more requests from actors for photo shoots that go beyond the traditional headshot session. And let's face it, we're living in a Facebook kinda world, right?! We all have a profile photo or a website or a Facebook page of some kind. So why not kick it up with a shoot that covers it all!
I've recently developed the "I Want It All" photo shoot, and Matthew was the perfect subject! He's an actor, singer, model, and an all-around nice guy! We even brought out the studio lights so Matt's portfolio would be as varied and interesting as he is! And, BOY, did we have fun!
We started, in typical Rob Sutton Photography fashion, on the streets of Hell's Kitchen, NYC! Matt brought GREAT clothes (and great energy), and I knew immediately we were in for a great shoot!
After a quick trip back to the studio, and an even quicker wardrobe change, it was back to the streets to shoot another awesome "look!"
At 5:30 pm, on a cloudy, New York City afternoon, we were chasing the light (and the WARMTH), but Matt was a total trooper!
Once we lost our natural light, it was back to the studio! After a quick soft-box set-up, we were all set for another round of shootin'...not to mention MORE of Matthew's totally cool wardrobe!
About halfway through our shoot, Matt mentioned that he has put on a lot of muscle weight lately. (He told me it was the result of his new brand of protein powder - which I immediately ordered!) We finished up with some body shots for Matt's modeling portfolio. You'll see the effects of that protein...AND of Matthew's hard work!
